Where I come from
It’s been a long time since Debauchery has graced these blog pages, but it is good to be back. Let me introduce myself – I AM Debauchery. No really. I am the wine. I have been out and about for the last six months and 2012 is looking to be busy already.
But as a way to set a foundation for my future stories, let me remind you of who I am. I am a wine that is infinitely drinkable, definitely quality, and perfect for a night of the unexpected. I like to have fun, let loose and let my laid back personality shine.
I was born in Chile. If I have a sunburn (I’m a red wine), I grew up the Maipo Valley. If I don’t (ie I’m a white wine), I grew up in the Casablanca Valley. Casablanca – isn’t that just perfect? Both of the valleys are just west of Santiago, the big city. My home was the Morende vineyards and the winery where I was squeezed and crushed and made just for you is in Pelequen.
They treat us really well at the winery, which is why I end up tasting so good for you. But enough about my home town – each Friday I’ll be back to share where I’ve been, what I’ve been doing and some other tidbits you might like to read about. Cheers!
